We make Chex Mix every year. It can be inexpensive to make, especially if you watch for the cereal to go on sale. To package the Chex Mix up for gift giving, I put it in a canning jar. Lots of times people will cover the top with fabric to dress it up. I do not sew, so there is no fabric to be found in my house.
Instead, I used some of the Christmas items I had on hand. I used wrapping paper, raffia and a holiday tag. I cut a circle out of the wrapping paper to cover this lid, tied ribbon around, and attached the tag.
