My family loves pancakes and when I saw this recipe for Cinnamon Roll Pancakes I knew I needed to give it a try. It’s two of my favorite breakfast foods all rolled into one. YUM!
Cinnamon Roll Pancakes
Recipe from Much Taste
Pancakes:
- 2 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
Cinnamon Filling:
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon
Cream Cheese Glaze:
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup powder sugar
Start by making the cinnamon filling: In bowl melt butter and mix in brown sugar and cinnamon. Add this filling into cake decorating bag.
To prepare pancake batter, in a bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk, oil, and lightly beaten eggs and whisk until everything is well combined.
The last thing you need to make is the Cream cheese glaze. In bowl microwave butter for about 25 seconds, add cream cheese and microwave in 20 second intervals and whisk together after each time. Once you have a nice smooth consistency add powder sugar and vanilla and whisk until completely combined.
Heat skillet on low medium heat, spray with non cooking spray. Add 1/2 cup of batter.
Snip off tip of decorating bag and squeeze a spiral of filling onto the pancake. Once pancake is bubbling on the surface flip the pancake and finish cooking the other side until golden brown.
When ready to serve, drizzle cream cheese glaze over pancake and enjoy!
