If you are an avid reader I highly recommend the Amazon Kindle E-readers. Since today is Prime Day several of the Kindle E-readers are one sale. Our family owns 4 Kindle readers so I can share my personal recommendations with you, here is what we have:
Kindle Voyage $149.99 (reg $199.99) – This is the one that I own and it is one of my most favorite things ever. I really like to read at night and I like how the screen isn’t super bright (you can adjust it). I also like that I can turn the page with a push of a button. I originally wasn’t sure if this would be worth the extra cost compared the the Paperwhite and I’ve decide it is. It’s also slightly lighter than the Paperwhite.
Kindle Paperwhite $89.99 (reg $119.99) – I bought this version for 2 of my kids. This version has a built in light, which I personally think is a must. I find that it is so much easier to download our books from the library instead of going to pick them up each week. This saves me time and late fees! Another reason I prefer my kids to have the Kindles over tablets is because they can’t surf the internet with the e-readers. We don’t allow internet access in our kids rooms so this is a great way to get digital books without the internet.
Kindle $49.99 (reg $79.99) – This was the first Kindle we tried, it has now been sent to my son who is off at college. It’s still a great device, but I personally would go with one with a built in light (unless you don’t ever read at night).
