This will vary by location though, so I wouldn’t consider this a written rule. It doesn’t hurt to try though!

What’s the deal with using expired Kohls cash? The checkout lady was trying to explain it to me a while back but it was so busy I didn’t retain anything she was talking so fast. I have $10 expired but she told me to always hold onto the expired ones???
