Hi would you mind letting me know which web host you're using? I've loaded your blog in 3 completely different web browsers and I must say this blog loads
a lot faster then most. Can you suggest a good internet hosting provider at a
reasonable price? Kudos, I appreciate it!

Also try lendle.com for Kindle books. It's free to join and as long as you're in good standing - meaning you're lending and not just borrowing - it's a great system. The only downside is uploading your collection. At one time they had a sync feature, but Amazon made them disable it. (boo!)

Thanks for the info! I have been wanting an ereader but have hesitated because I get so many of my books from the library. Now that I know about these free lending options, I think I am going to get a Nook!

Hello,
I just got a Kindle for my birthday last week...I did some research and, although library e-books are not Kindle-compatible, there are free downloadable content converters that will allow you to convert and ePub book to a Kindle-friendly version. Do a google search and enjoy!

I use https://www.booklending.com and I love it! I just got my first borrowed book and I am loving it! I will definitely check out the others that you listed. But, yes, such a shame that Overdrive doesnt work with kindle :( It would have been nice to use my library for me still instead of just the kids. Oh well!

For the Kindle, one of the best resources is www.pixelofink.com. They compile all of the available free books, even ones that are only up for a short time. They also have a bargain book section that covers books that are under a $1.

Well said, Jordan! I installed the Kindle App on my Android phone and am loving it! I still prefer reading a printed book, but with three kids and on the go so much, the Kindle App allows me to take a book on the go without actually having to pack the book.
