I love Hobby Lobby as a craft store, but I also really love it as a place where I can buy home decor. I have quite a few items from Hobby Lobby in my home.

The thing about Hobby Lobby is there prices are inflated so you want to make sure to only buy stuff when it’s on sale. They have 50% off sales all the time. You can easily find 50% off wall art or 50% off table top decor about every other week.

Here’s the best part! Hobby Lobby likes to clear out a bunch of merchandise at the same time to make way for new merchandise so they mark these items down to 75% off!! You’ll find these markdowns have red stickers on them. This is the week the markdown is taking place. There are SO MANY items getting marked down, you’ll need to get yourself to Hobby Lobby ASAP!! Below you will find some of the 75% off clearance deals I spotted at my store. This really is just a small sampling, there are a ton of 75% off deals in nearly every department. Keep in mind that the selection at each store will vary. If you head to Hobby Lobby I want to hear about the deals you score!

What to Expect at Costco in January

Here is a peek at some of the new items, coupon savings and markdowns you can find at Costco in January. January brings furniture, exercise equipment, organization and usually some healthy new food options. A new Costco coupon book was released and the coupon savings are valid now through January 26th. Keep in mind that Costco prices may vary a little by region.

In the next week or two is common for the toys to get marked down a little so keep an eye on those if you head to Costco. If I get the chance I may do a mid-month post with some updates on deals.

Here are couple of Costco tips for you: If an item ends in 7, it is Costco’s version of a clearance item. Also, if you notice an asterisk in the top right hand corner of the sign with the price, that means it is a seasonal item and will not be stocked again (it may come back next year, but it won’t be re-stocked after the current supply is depleted).

New Items

January brings in lots of furniture! The have several different options on sectionals and couches. This large sectional is priced at $1999.99.

This smaller sectional is $749.99.

This 72″ entertainment console is $499.99.

This 66″ entertainment console is so pretty and is priced at $379.99.

There are several new lighting options. These lamps are $79.99 for the pair.

I found some cool new plants at Costco this month. These S-shaped Bonsai Trees are fun.

I absolutely loved these Pachira Braid Money Tree.

You should find lots of exercise equipment at Costco right now. This NordicTrack is actually $100 off and priced at $899.99.

Thie Ello Meal Prep set is a new find and priced at $26.99. I own this set and I really like it! You have to keep in mind that the lids are no microwaveable. These retail for around $40, so the Costco price is a great one.

I love this 10 piece bowl set. The inside of each bowl has a pretty pattern.

At the beginning of the new year, everyone is organizing. These Capco drawer organizer set is priced at $24.99.

These JBU women’s boots are $29.99.

I found a brand new pre-made food option! These are Pit Smoked Brisket Sliders with Coleslaw and it is priced at $6.99 per pound, which made each package around the $16.

This may have been around earlier, but it is the first I have seen it. It’s a great pre-made Charcuterie for $14.99.

In the frozen section I found these Ogranic Acai Bowls. You just thaw and eat. They are priced at $11.99.

There is a great deal on Hillshire Farm Naturals lunch meat, it’s $6.59 (reg $9.59).

Get a 5-pack of Degree for men for only $8.99 (reg $12.99).

Winter time calls for moisturizers! Get this pack of Cetaphil lotion for $13.99. You save $5 off the regular price of $18.99.

Markdowns

Stainless Steel tumbler set is only $14.97.

I’ve mentioned before how much I love this set, it’s now marked down to only $9.97.

Another item I love is marked down, this mixing bowl set is now $12.97.

This 2-pack of lamps was marked down to only $39.97. That’s only $20 per lamp! These lamps are pretty tall too, 28.5 inches. They are way more pretty in person too.

Disney Outlet Store Locations – Save on Official Disney Parks Souvenirs

If you and your family love to visit Disneyland or Disney World, I’m guessing you also like your Disney souvenirs. Purchasing souvenirs in the parks can get expensive! I’m offering a great alternative to buying official Disney Parks merchandise at the Parks, you can buy it at a Disney Outlet Store! They have Disney Store Outlet locations across the US. There are locations in both Florida and California so you could possibly make a stop when visiting the Parks.

In most of these stores you’ll find merchandise similar to that at the Disney Store at your local mall, but you will also find some great Disney Parks merchandise too. As an example, I stopped by my Disney Outlet at the Seattle Premium Outlets and I was thrilled to find they had official Disney Parks Minnie ears priced at only $4.99!! Yes, these are the exact same ears you find in the parks selling for $27.99. Keep in mind inventory and prices at the outlets will vary all the time.

Also, if you visit Orlando, there are two locations called Disney’s Character Warehouse, pretty much the entire store is filled with Disney Parks merchandise. We love visiting the Character Warehouse whenever we head to Disney World! You can save some serious money on Disney merchandise.

Here is a closer look at all the different ears they had for $4.99. They had fun rainbow ears, I picked up a pair of these!

The navy and pink polka dot ears! I loved these when they first came out, but I didn’t necessarily “need” anymore ears. At $4.99 though, I needed them.

They also had the Millennial Pink ears which are fairly new.

Patriotic ears, also for $4.99.

They also had the silly duck butt ears and Monster’s Inc too.

This huge Mickey stuffed animal from the Get Your Ears on Celebration was priced at only $8.95. He is so cute and that is an amazing price!

These monorail and Cars socks were only $3.99, they retail for $14.99.

They have several different executive pens for around $10, these retail for $32.

There were lots of different mugs for around $5.

I also found rack and racks of Disney Parks clothing that was deeply discounted. They even had some Disney Spirit Jerseys. There are 37 Disney outlet locations across the United States, you can see if there is one near you.

What to Expect at Costco (August 2019)

Here is a peek at some of the new items and great deals you will find at Costco in August. There is lots of furniture, new clothing, new beauty supplies and back-to school deals. A new Costco coupon book was released and the coupon savings are valid through September 1st. Some of the school deelas are only valid until August 18th, so if you want those you’ll have to shop toon. Keep in mind that Costco prices may vary a little by region.

Hunter boots are back at Costco! My store had two different colors and are selling for $89.99. I am guessing these will sell quickly.

This LEGO deal is probably the one I’m most excited about, you can get a box filled with 1500 LEGO pieces for only $39.99. This is a screaming deal! It makes each LEGO brick only $.026 each. Buy this now and save it for Christmas.

There is also a 50-pack of Play-Doh in store right now for only $9.99.

A couple times of year Costco stocks are larger amount of furniture and now is one of those times. There are even a few pieces that have some sale prices, like this sectional for $799.99.

These cool lamps have been marked down to $34.97.

This T-fal jumbo cooker is only $15.99 with the $4 instant savings.

Save $5 and get this set of 2 Pyrex deep dish baking dishes for only $12.99.

I noticed big savings on the Dionis Goat Milk body lotion. Save $9 off the regular price and pay only $9.99.

These automatic pencil sharpeners are great to have at home. Fun fact! One year when I couldn’t help out much in my son’s class due to too many young ones at home I was the official class pencil sharpener. The teacher would send home a bag of pencils that needed to be sharpened every week. I would sharpen then at home and send them back.

Huge pack of pens for $5.99. These also come in all black.

Nice deal on a stapler set.

I also found a nice markdown on these Adidas shoes with memory foam. I love these shoes for vacations and trips to Disneyland. These were also marked down to only $14.97. Super deal!

Pendleton blankets for only $15.99. These would make great Christmas gifts.

This garbage can is on sale for $39.99, $10 off the regular price.

This new Teak Bench caught my eye, it is $79.99.

Costco is now carrying single serve cups of Panera Mac & Cheese.

If you love the Cilantro Lime Crema that comes with the Costco Street Taco kits you can buy it in the bottle now. Heads up! Make sure you check the expiration date, the ones at my store were less than a month away. We like this stuff, but we can’t go through it that quick.

This is one of the better food deals this month. Get this huge box of Hillshire Farm Honey Ham for $6.59. You save $3 off the regular price.

My Love Crunch is back and now it has 20% more!! This is a staple at our house so I was thrilled to see it back.

New Cauliflower based pizza crusts. Just $8.59 for a 3-pack.

Save $3 and get these GoGo Squeez Blastz for $6.59.

This big bags of chips are only $3.99 (reg $6.29).

Hang on to summer and pick up a big box of Drumsticks. Save $3.50 and get the box for $5.99. Pretty awesome deal, considering that’s what it costs for an 8-pack at the grocery store.

There are lots of outdoor items like plants, sporting goods and more. A new coupon book was released and the prices are valid through March 3rd. These popular Italian hand soaps are back! It’s just $9.99 for 4 HUGE 21.5 oz soaps. I bought these last year and I loved them. There is a very good chance these will go quick.

A special purchase this month is a 7-piece Cuisinart knife set for $12.99.

What to Expect at Costco (February 2019)

Here is a peek at some of the new items and great deals you will find at Costco in February. We are seeing Easter dresses and lots of other items for spring (and even summer) A new coupon book was released and the prices are valid through March 3rd. Keep in mind that Costco prices may vary a little by region.

I already regret not buying these cute bowls. It was a set of ten for only $9.99. That makes each bowl only $1. I hope they are still there the next time I get to Costco.

There is a fun 4-pack of oversized Mason Jars for $19.99.

Get 2 ThermoFlask bottles for $15.99.

Save $20 on this 3-piece Induction Cooking Set, it’s only $59.99. Fun fact! I have been cooking on one of these since August instead of a regular stove since we are in the model of a big home remodel. That’s not really a “fun fact”, I’m just looking for people to feel sorry for me. : )

Gorgeous orchids are $19.99.

There are even some fruit trees in-stock! They also have in stock all the stuff you need for your gardening and yard care needs like potting soil, moss killer, etc.

More garden supplies! These Fiskars pruning sets are $27.99.

I thought the Bee Barn was interesting. It’s priced at $21.99.

It seems like every spring Costco has some form of a metal wind spinner and this year is no exception. This one is $36.99.

This 3-pack for leather work gloves is $4 off the regular price and now only $$15.99. That’s a steal!

Rain barrels always return this time of year. Then again, maybe it’s just a Washington thing because we get so much rain.

New birdfeeder is $29.79.

I always love when Costco brings in water fountains, but honestly I am not loving this one. It’s not very pretty. It doesn’t seem to have much character to it. It’s priced at $249.99. I’m gonna pass!

This covered swing would be fun!

I loved this outdoor seating set with fire. Unfortunately, this is the one item I don’t have the price on. I even wanted it for myself, so I’ll have to run back and check.

This umbrella is so cool! It’s huge, it has LED lights and it’s pricey. I do love it though!

Fun pack of Essie nail polish is $24.79. Three full size bottles of Essie polish will run you $27 at Target, so this is a nice deal, as long as you like all the colors that are included.

This 10-pack of essential oils is marked down to $9.97.

There is some pretty big savings on this charcoal sheet mask set. It’s normally $16.99, but marked down $7, so now it’s only $9.99.

Stellar savings on Oral-B toothbrushes. Get 8 toothbrushes for only $9.99.

3 huge packs of Olay body wash for $9.99.

There is a $55 markdown on this Shark DuoClean vacuum. I love my Shark vacuum.

This faucet is marked down $20 and it is so pretty!

I love the Command strips and hooks! They are a must for anyone that rents or has kids heading off to college. They are a super deal at $9.99 a pack.

I found men’s Addidas marked down to $19.97.

Swimsuits!!! That means spring and summer is on it’s way my friends. These girls swimsuits are priced at $11.99.

Pretty Easter dresses are $16.99-$18.99.

Now onto some of the great food deals this month! Pick up a box for Fruit by the Foot for $8.59, you are saving $4 off the regular $12.59 price.

No deal on these, but they are new and I thought they were worth mentioning. Has anybody tried these? It was $9.99 for a 4-pack.

There is a nice price on The Laughing Cow Light Cheese Wedge. I love this on crackers or on celery. Yummy!

Get Stonyfield organic kids yogurt tubes for only $5.99, you save $3 off the regular $8.99 price.

What to Expect at Costco (Last Minute Holiday Edition)

Do you have to make a stop at Costco before Christmas? So many people dread it, but honestly I have had a wonderful experience shopping Costco close to Christmas nearly every single year. They always have enough checkout lanes open and you can score some amazing deals and grab some last minute gifts without having to hit the mall. I’ll gladly to to Costco over the mall!

One of my favorite items that Costco bring in every year is this box of 25 greeting cards. These are really nice embellished cards! The pack of 25 cards is only $14.99. That makes each card only $.60. That’s a screaming deal, if you see these don’t hesitate to pick them up. I bought them and they are beautiful!

Do you have a bunch of pies to make? Costco has a screaming deal on a 3 pack of Pyrex pie plates, it is only $4.99 for the set. That’s only $1.67 per glass pie plate

Nice set of Wilton Non-Stick Bakeware is $19.99.

The KitchenAid Spiralizer Attachment is down to $29.97. This is currently selling for $77.95 at Amazon.

Here’s a great gift idea if you have several people you need small gifts to give. This 6-pack of Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Creams is $13.99.

6-pack of EOS Lip Balm for $9.99. This is another great deal, these retail for around $3.00 each.

I found Patagonia raincoats marked down to $59.97. There were two different colors, this periwinkle color and a blue/aqua one.

There is a great deal on the KidKraft Deluxe Chalkboard Art Table with Stools, it’s only $29.97.

I even found a markdown on the American Girl Accessory set.

I recommend picking up some yummy Ghirardelli Chocolate.

The Famous Dave’s Cornbread Mix is marked down to $3.97.

Lastly, if you feel like tackling a project, check out these great vanity lights on sale for $34.99. We actually needed new vanity lights and bought these. We actually bought them a month ago when they were regular price ($49.99). They are still sitting in our bathroom in the box. Hopefully we’ll find time to install them soon.

What to Expect at Costco (September 2017)

Every month I head to Costco and share some of the new and exciting finds. Keep in mind that selection and prices may vary by location. A new coupon book was released and the prices are valid through September 24th. Here is a peek at some of the markdowns, new, sale and seasonal items I found at my Covington and Federal Way, WA Costco locations for September.

There is big savings on these 5 Real Wax LED Candles with Remote. They are priced at $19.99, you save $20.

Here is another coupon items for this month. These Umbrellas are only $7.99 each, with the $2 instant savings coupon. I bought one of these and it’s really nice.

Get this LED Vanity Mirror for only $14.99 with the coupon savings.

Save $3 and get these mug sets for only $9.99. That makes these mugs only $1.67 each. These would be great to separate, add hot cocoa mix, wrap in cello and you have a great Christmas gift.

New wax warmer and scented wax for $17.99.

3-packs of gift candles are $19.99.

I picked up one of these Stainless Steel Measuring Cup & Spoon sets. They are nice and sturdy. I was in need of these, some of ours have gone missing.

I love this Canister Set for $24.99.

2 pack of Stainless Steel Trash Cans for $15.99.

Costco has these cute Tsum Tsum Advent calendars priced at $27.99. I think these will probably go fairly quick, you probably won’t find them in November.

It looks like Costco will once again carry American Girl items this year. I found these doll accessory sets priced at $39.99, there were 2 different styles.

Lots of toys are in-stock now for the holidays, These Duplo sets were $19.99.

They have a fun Leap Frog Scoop & Learn Ice Cream Cart for $29.99.

These Disney Toddler Princess Dolls are $15.99.

This DIY Jewelry Set and Organizer is $19.99.

Super cute rain boots for kids priced at $19.99.

I love these rain jackets priced at only $19.99.

Great gift idea! These Packable Down Throws come in several colors and are $19.99.

If you are looking for a sewing machine, they have a nice discount on this Brother Sewing Machine.

These Milk Chocolate Almond Toffee look heavenly!

I highly recommend these Cave Man Nutrition Bars (even at full-price). You can currently save $5 per box and get these for $12.99. I stocked up! These are gluten free too.

Great deal on one of our favorite items, Pirate’s Booty. Get a bag for only $3.49 with instant savings.

We also love this Popcornopilis Organic Kettle Corn and you can save $2.50 with instant savings.

Another family fave are these Dark Chocolate Pretzel Crisps. Save $2.2o with instant savings.

Guess what? Christmas is in the house! They already have some Christmas items stocked which means it gives us the green light to go ahead and start playing Christmas music.

These 30 piece Christmas Village is $99.99. I remember begging my mom to get us one of these when we were kids and she always said “no”. Now that I’m a mom, I totally get it. Where in the heck would I put something like this?

Costco is clearing out the furniture to make room for all the items for the holidays. Remember items that end in a price of $.97 have been marked down.

Every month I head to Costco and share some of the new and exciting finds. Keep in mind that selection and prices may vary by location. A new coupon book was released and the prices are valid through August 27th. Here is a peek at some of the markdowns, new, sale and seasonal items I found at my Covington, WA Costco for August.

I picked up a set of these, my plastic storage containers were in major need of being replaced. Through August 27th, you can save $8 off this set and get it for only $16.99.

Costco has some pretty S’well bottles with a gift box that would be great for gifting. I love the pretty marble ones.

I found these serving sets marked down to $9.97.

This Swirl Centerpiece Vase was also marked down to $9.97.

A ton of the coupon deals this month are on items for back-t0-school snacks. Get this big box of Chewy granola bars for only $5.99. Super deal!

Big box of Cheez-Its are $5.59.

I’m a big fan of these Food Should Taste Good Multigrain Tortilla chips and at $3.99 it’s a steal.

The big box of Welch’s Fruit Snacks are only $7.99, which makes them $.10 each.

You will also find some great deals on supplies for back-to-school. These 25 ct of Sharpie markers are only $10.99.

The best pencils in my book are Ticonderoga and this is a great price for 8 dozen, only $9.49.

I can’t stop at Costco without checking out the books. I rarely buy, because I love using my library, but I do check out the selection for new books to check out from the library and to buy books for gifts. My youngest would love the coding book and his birthday is coming up in September.

They have some fun alternatives to candy to pass out to trick or treaters. Check out these mini puzzles in tin containers. These would also be good to hand out as party favors.

There is also an 80-count pack of Play-Doh for $13.99.

Halloween costumes are now in-stock.

There is new clothing for fall. I spotted these cute tulle skirts for little girls priced at $9.99. Check out several more styles below.

Kids character hoodies for boys and girls are $9.99. The Minnie Mouse is adorable.

There is a great deal on flannel shirts for men, only $9.99.

Get a 9-pack of women’s no show socks for only $7.99.

Men’s Kirkland Athletic Shoes were marked down to only $12.97.

Have you tried these 3 Cheese Mini Ravioli yet? The’ve come a staple at our house. They cook in 3 minutes so they are perfect for a quick easy meal. Just make a salad to go with and you are good to go.

Here is another new food item we love, Popcornopolis Organic Kettle Corn. Yum!

Here is a new food item I’d like to try. Nature’s Path Coconut & Cashew Butter Crunchy Organic Granola. Does anybody else see things they really want to try and promise to try a smaller package from a regular grocery store to make sure you like it first. Only you never actually buy it from the grocery store to try it, or when you do, you find out the small package costs nearly as much as the large Costco one.

Costco now carries Organic Cauliflower Rice for $3.99. We tried making Fried Rice out of Cauliflower Rice once. It’s not the same, but it wasn’t horrible. Anybody a huge fan?

Furniture has once again returned to Costco. I love this huge table and chairs for $899.99. We are kind of on the end of the furniture, so they should be clearing it out soon.

I absolutely love this accent cabinet/armoire for $289.99. If I had some place to put it I would snatch this baby up.

You should be able to find lots of football themed gear for your local team.

This plush blankets are $16.99.

Before you know it we’ll be seeing Christmas stuff at Costco. This year has flown by fast. I’d love to hear what new and exciting things you’ve been buying at Costco.

A new coupon book was released and the prices are valid through June 25th. Here is a peek at some of the markdowns, new, sale and seasonal items I found at my Covington, WA Costco in June.

There are a ton of great instant rebates this month, so I’ll be starting with those:

This 2-pack of Duracell flashlights is a super deal and would make a great gift for Father’s Day. This pack includes two heavy duty flashlights and Duracell batteries. These are only $9.99 (reg $19.99).

We own a couple sets of these lights and we love them. They are on sale right now for only $29.99.

Women’s and men’s sandals are only $11.95 (reg $14.95)

You can save big on this 8-pack of Scotch Heavy Duty packaging tape. You save $7.50 off the regular price and get them for only $15.99.

There is a $15 instant rebate on this Norelco all-in-one trimmer. It is currently $24.99 (reg $49.99).

The 2-pack of Stream Machines would be fun for the summer months. They are $9.99 (reg $14.99)

Two-pack of toilet brushes with caddies is $14.99 (reg $19.99).

It’s rare to see a buy one get one FREE sale and there are 2 of them this month. These Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle are norally $6.99 a bag, but the buy one get one free deal makes them only $3.50 a bag. Super deal! I recommend crunching these up and adding them to ice cream. I had vanilla ice cream, raspberries and the Brownie Brittle. Yummy!

Angie’s Boom Chicka Pop Kettle Corn is another item that is buy one get one free. These are $5.99 a bag so with the sale they are only $3 a bag.

I found a new instant rebate on the Clif Kid Organic ZBars. This markdown is valid through ******

Have you tried this organic Love Crunch Granola before? It is so good and a steal at only $3.99. You are saving $3 off the regular Costco price.

I picked up this Organic Salad Topper awhile ago and I am really liking it. I usually buy the box of Organic Mixed greens for $3.99 and I top it with this salad topper and toss with some Italian dressing. It makes for a super quick and easy salad. The Nature Source organic Salad Topper contains cranberries and seeds. I sometimes eat it like a trail mix too. Give it a try!

You can save $5 on this set of 2 toilet brushes with caddies. The set is on sale for $14.99.

I noticed some fun new books for kids.

Big 36 oz Yet Stainless Steel bottles are new at my store and priced at $36.99.

There is a great price on these 3-pack of Contigo water bottles for kids. It’s only $11.99 for the 3-pack, making them only $4 each.

I thought this 5 piece pasta serving set was really pretty. It is priced at $24.99.

This 6 set of bowls are pretty too.

My Costco had a 2-pack of Yankee Candles for $29.99. The regular price of a large jar candles is $27.99, so this is a pretty great price.

This stadium seat is $19.99.

I found this ceramic serving set marked down to $14.97.

This 4 pack of colorful serving bowls were marked down to $9.97.

Barnes & Noble Clearance 75% off

Barnes & Noble just marked down their clearance to 75% off!! I found a TON of amazing deals at my store in Tukwila, WA. It was a happy coincidence that I stumbled on this sale. I was killing time while one of my boys was at his eye appt. I love when I stumble on deals like this! These are usually the same items that end up only for only $2, but I suggest you check your stores now there are some HOT items that I can pretty much guarantee won’t make it to the $2 markdown. I found Snap Circuit kits, B. toys, Little Bits kits, Swell water bottles, Tervis mugs and so much more.

I should also mention that the clearance wasn’t all in one location, so check throughout the store. The toys were on an aisle all by themselves with small signs that said 75% off. I wouldn’t have seen it if an employee didn’t point it out to me. Here is a look at some of the awesome things I found that were 75% off.
