I went to check out the sales because I love books and bargains and I was underwhelmed. At “up to 40% off”, the prices are pretty much the same as Amazon’s. I did get some bargains at a later round of price cuts, when they added on additional discount based on how many items you bought (I think it was 25% off your whole purchase if you got 8 items, and everything was already 50% off). I don’t know if they did that at all stores or just some of them.
