I always get compliments on how much I spend on my goody bags. I always tell my friends that I just shop the dollar spot at Target when it goes on clearance. I have a large storage bin that I just put them in. I usually buy about 20 or so of the same item when they go 75% off. Actually now I think they just go down to 70% off. It takes some planning and storage, but then you don’t spend a lot on the goody bags with the small junky stuff that breaks before the kids leave your house. I really try to keep an eye out for the cloth bags in the dollar spot to put all the goodies in as opposed to buying the small plastic bags. I’ve also gone to the Scholastic book sales. When they package books together I will buy them and let kids pick a book.
